Boolathon For Kids Help Phone

Description: Friends, families and co-workers had a spooktacular time at the Kids Help Phone Boolathon to help raise important awareness and funds to assist young people struggling with their emotional health and well-being. This event is held in many locations across Canada, and in Moncton raised over $3,300 for the cause. As part of its message, Kids Help Phone wants to educate children that mental health is nothing to be ashamed of. Because some youth are uncomfortable talking on the phone, Kids Help Phone has added that kids in need can access help to free professional counselling by texting. So they feel free to talk about any aspect of their life including home life, bullying & school situations and even receive helpful tips regarding self-care. If you, or someone you know, is struggling with anything at all, the Kids Help Phone can help. You can reach them online at www.KidsHelpPhone.ca, by calling 1-800-668-6868 or now by texting TALK to 686868.
